In the song, Christ is symbolically presented as a mother partridge that feigns injury to decoy predators from her helpless nestlings, recalling the expression of Christ’s sadness over the fate of Jerusalem: “Jerusalem! Jerusalem! How often would I have sheltered you under my wings, as a hen does her chicks, but you would not have it so . . . .” (Luke 13:34)

On the 5th day of Christmas my true love gave to me…

Limang Tinapa

The first Five Books of the Old Testament, known as the Torah or the Pentateuch: 1) Genesis, 2) Exodus, 3) Leviticus, 4) Numbers, and 5) Deuteronomy, which gives the history of humanity’s sinful failure and God’s response of grace in the creation of a people to be a light to the world.

He descended into hell [the grave]. 5) On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. 6) He will come again to judge the living and the dead. 7) I believe in the Holy Spirit, 8.) the holy catholic Church, 9) the communion of saints, 10) the forgiveness of sins, 11) the resurrection of the body, 12) and life everlasting.

  2. Wow gusto kong lahat ng nabanggit mo. Im craving for kamatsile, singkamas at mangga! waaaaaa! pero syempre mas feel ko ung 12 friends! hehe!

  3. ang sasarap naman ng mga binigay sa ‘yo ng true love mo….

    pero pinakamasarap syempre, yung panghuli. what’s better than having friends, right?

    Great reminder for all of us that Christmas is really preparing ourselves for the birth of Jesus Christ and to live according to His teachings and ways everyday. I’m tired of Christmas shopping !
    Merry Christmas! Mero bang sineguelas ngayon diyan? I miss that fruit…lalo na kapag nagpupunta sa Manaoag..puto
    and siniguelas dipped in salt, pagkatapos ng misa..I miss the simbang gabi…the dec. breeze..amoy pasko sa pinas..kaya lang parang panay pa rin ang bagyo.

    Tinitigan kong mabuti ‘yung pic. Alimango yata ‘yon. Pula yung alimasag, di ba? Haaay, sarap ng manggang hilaw. Ang arte ko pa nga, bine-blender ko pa yon. Mmmm…asim…sakit sa tiyan hehehe :lol:

    kamatisile?? Masarap ba ‘yon? Di pa ako nakakain noon eh. “yung biskwit na kamatsile, peyborit ko nung maliit ako (hanggang ngayon pala hehe).

    Oo nga. Nakakaawa naman ‘yung mga nasalanta, paskong walang-wala. Pero may nagkuwento sa akin ang dami daw nagbigay ng relief goods sa Bicol. Nasira na raw ‘yung bridge sa dami ng trak ng relief goods na dumaan.
